Mr Gregor McGlashan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2001, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with Commendation. During his five years of study he attained multiple merits of high standards in a range of disciplines. Additionally as an undergraduate he won prizes for Dental Public Health, Anaesthetics and Therapeutics, and Restorative Dentistry. In 2004, after two years of study in Glasgow, Gregor was awarded a Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery, from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. As a result of these exams he was presented with the T.C White medal for outstanding performance in the Membership. Since qualifying Gregor has worked in a variety of Specialities at a Senior House Officer level including Paediatric Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Glasgow, Liverpool and Belfast. Gregor shows a keen attitude to postgraduate training and research and has published research in numerous peer review journals. He has presented some of his research into Oral Cancer at a National Surgeons Conference. In 2005, he moved to Northern Ireland and having worked in the oral surgery department at the Ulster Hospital and in general practice, he joined David Reaney & Associates in June 2007. Gregor now dedicates a significant amount of time putting nervous patients at ease by providing both intravenous and inhalation sedation.
